Brightness index = E.c. * Q.Y. / 1000. If you do not have accurate extinction coefficients and quantum yields, please make the measurements or arrange for a skilled lab to do so. At our discretion we included Brilliant BUV's and a few quantum dots without full data - going forward we expect to add only complete entries. A more complete table of fluorescent proteins is in another section of this web site. We are happy to include high quality quenchers in the table - for quenchers please leave emission maximum quantum yield and brightness index blank.
